Introduction to Blogs in Web Marketing Academy training

Introduction to blogs was the topic for discussion in our last session in web marketing academy.

Blogs are forms of simplified website, more personal and it can be very interactive.

Blog page can be made from blogger (www.blogger.com) which is googles free blog space as well as wordpress (www.wordpress.com) which is an open source , the two mostly used website to create blog .

In both of these there are options to customise the page and make it look just the way you want it.

There are options to

• select theme 
• post some interesting article 
• add media 
• put polls 
• add widgets on the blog etc 

The fact that I did not know untill yesterday was that a website can be developed from blog platform. Mr suresh had showed us a few website which are basically blogs and which he linked to his domain and works as a website ( http://www.webmarketingacademy.in), which is quite amazing because to make a blog and customize it is very simple,.as it is all about drag and drop , trial and errors cost nothing and you are there with your own blog and eventually with your own website.
